Dorian Roberts, assistant principal
My name is Dorian Leigh Roberts and I am the assistant principal at Hope of Detroit Academy.
Before entering the education, I was a sport journalist for five years.
In 1998 I entered the educational field as a teacher’s aide, became a certified teacher in 2000. I have an Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Norfolk State University, Masters in Elementary Education; ED.S in Educational Leadership and a PH.D in Educational Leadership.
Entering my second year as an administrator, it is my hope and desire to create an environment where the “whole child” is educated and nourished. My goal is for each student at Hope of Detroit Academy will graduate with the academics and life skills needed to further their education.
