Mr. Wright Bio

My name is Andrew Wright. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English at Michigan State University and a Teaching Certification in Language Arts and History at Eastern Michigan University. While this is my first year at Hope of Detroit Academy, this is my third year teaching.

Reading & Writing Grades

Grades will be sent home every Friday for both Reading and Writing. Students should bring their grades home for you to sign and return to school.

8th Reading & Writing

In reading we are currently reading stories to identify purpose, structure, elements, style, and theme. In the coming weeks we are going to begin reading The Wizard of OZ by L. Frank Baum.
