Our students recently went on a field trip to the police department to learn how the brave men and women of the police force are protecting us each and every day.
On Tuesday April 18th, 2017 representatives from the Mayor's Office to officially break ground at Szafraniec Park which is directly next to the elementary school building. The city has chosen the park to renovate over the upcoming weeks as part of an inititive to invest in public parks around the city. We are very thankful that the city has chosen our park and we are excited to see how it will look when it is finished!
Congratulations to our Spelling Bee Teams! Our Hope of Detroit Academy Middle School Team won 1st place at the annual Leona Group Spelling Bee!
Guadalupe Avalos was the top speller for the middle school!
