M.E.A.P. (Michigan Educational Assessment Program) testing will begin for the third through eighth grade students on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 and end on Friday, October 28, 2011. The scheduled days for testing will occur on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s from 8:15 – 11:.30 a.m. Friday’s will be used as a make-up day. This assessment test is a very important tool that will assist the teachers in identifying the areas of need for each student. This test also measures the progression for each student in his/her grade level compared to other students in the city and state. Due to the importance of this test, we suggest that your child(ren) receives a good night’s rest, eats a healthy breakfast and drinks plenty of water and/or fluids. It is important that all students are in attendance and arrive to school on time and be well prepared. We do believe that all of our students can and will beat the M.E.A.P. !!!!!
