Hope of Detroit Academy periodically treats the school grounds and building with chemicals for pest control. Such treatments occur on Saturday or professional development days. This gives a minimum time lapse of 48 hours between the application of chemicals in student areas and the use of the treated areas.

The chemicals are applied around the perimeter of the building and on the grounds. The product used is the safest professional product available in the industry. No residue or odor is present at the time of application.
