Ms. Ridley was born, raised and attended school  in Alabama.  

She has 4 sons and 2 daughters. 

As well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She worked for Ford Motor Company since 1973. 

She worked for 25 years and retired from Ford Motor Company in January of 1999.  She was hire by Hope of Detroit Academy on January 29, 2003.
