My name is Ali Abdel and I am the principal at Hope of Detroit Academy.

I have worked in the educational field since January 2000. It has been a privilege over the years to be a part in the lives of young people. I want to continue to contribute and assist students through teaching them how to learn and grow. I have 12 years experience in the business field. I used my business experience to begin a career in the educational field. I was a Business Manager for three years for a school and then promoted to Assistant Principal for 4 years. I received my Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Business from the University of Phoenix. I am currently working on my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.
