Theresa Perry, Title I teacher

Picture
Theresa Perry is a graduate of Cass Technical High School and Wayne State University. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and is currently pursuing a Special Education Specialist Certificate for a CI endorsement.

This will be her 10th year with Hope of Detroit Academy. This year she is the RTI Coordinator and Writing coach. Her passion is to see students gain confidence that they can succeed and make a positive impact on the world around them. The success of students is her motivation for continuing to provide a quality education for all the students she encounters. She enjoys the fact that through her teaching of the whole child, students believe they can achieve and work hard to reach their educational goals.
