Ms. Durandetto has been teaching middle school science for 10 years and hold a Masters in Teaching with a Specialization in Science.  This is her 7th year at Hope of Detroit. 

During her time here, she has started the Science Fair, the recycling program and is head of a grant that gets students involved in community-based projects.  Ms. Durandetto and her students have developed a project to pick up abandoned tires in our school’s neighborhood. 

This will be the 4th year for our annual Tire Sweep and the recycling program now includes paper, plastic and cardboard.
